Give in, submit, yield, cave in

Hi, teachers~

I've come across 'cave in' which is new to me.

I am wondering if you can let me know which one is the most casual (or common)and the most formal.

Submit and yield are high register. (more formal) Some other related verbs are capitulate, surrender, cede and abdicate. Give up, give in and cave in are lower register (more casual)
