Hi

Teacher says to someone else: If they do not have many hours to give away then probably I'll be free on Mondays. ---is it OK to use "give away"?

Thanks

Hi, I don't see a clear meaning here. In what context is he speaking? Do you know who he means by 'they'?

  • Possibly 'they' are the people who assign hours of work, in which case he may mean 'If they don't give me any work on Mondays, I'll be free on Mondays'.
