Hi

Teacher says to someone else: If they do not have many hours to give away then probably I'll be free on Mondays. ---is it OK to use "give away"?

Possibly 'they' are the people who assign hours of work, in which case he may mean 'If they don't give me any work on Mondays, I'll be free on Mondays'.
