Hi, who does the collocation "give a concert" refer to, please? To the band or to the organiser of the concert? Or both? If I organise a concert and invite U2 to play there, can I say "I am giving a (U2) concert." or is it Bono who can say "We are giving a concert in Litomyšl, the Czech Republic.". Or both, him and me can say that? Thank you.
Top answer
The band gives a concert. We are going to have a concert next month. We invited U2 to give the featured act.
