Girls' generation and Girl's day

Here in Korea, there are girl groups named Girls' generation and Girl's day. I would like to know which one is a proper way for the names. I think that Girls' generation and Girls' day are appropriate or is there a reason that the writing style Girl's generation and Girl's day can be right? This question is really weird, but I need your helpEmotion: embarrassed

Thank you so much and I hope to hear from you.
