Grammar

gets...used to

Copy gets written like homework used to get done.

This is what someone who works on advertising said fluently.

Is this grammatically accurate? (I don't understand the meaning)

Thanks.

The grammar is fine. I suppose that it means that both advertising copy and homework get finished at the last moment, right before the deadline.

Wow, looks as if you were seeing the material I'm reading now. What you said makes me understand not only its meaning but the whole paragraph around it.
Thanks, Mister.
