get your grip?

Saw this on modern family

Come on Lily, let's get your grips and tiger paws.
you're going to a time-out, a nice long one.

Guess it's a scolding but I can not understand what is "get your grips and tiger paws", "going to a time-out"

Help please

I gather from the full transcript that Lily has been doing gymnastics. "tiger paws" are apparently wrist supports, and "grips" are things that you put on your hands to help you grip a bar (for example). "time-out" seems to be used in the usual sense of a break in activity.

Thank you for reply... So it is not some situation of Lily being scolded? I dont know why the words 'tiger paws', 'grips' were used.

I cannot tell without trying to understand the whole story, or hearing the tone of voice. The line that you quoted is not conclusive in itself.
