'get well soon'

Hello!

I was informed that my teacher has caught a cold and had a few days off. So I've writen a Get well soon mail. But before I send it, I want to have it checked. Could you please correct if any my sloppy sentences below? Are they correct grammatically and in terms of meaning?

Dear Antunas,

I am sorry to hear about your stinking cold. . .

(Perhaps [does it make sense in the beginning?] ) is it due to the changing weather these days?

. . . I hope you get well soon.

As I am a folk medicine guru and having prior experience in it, and if I may be allowed,

I would like to give my best health cure strongly I know.

If you can get grapefruit seed concentate, very bitter but good, put a few drops in water.

Also honey, lemon or ginger hot water in whatever combination you can bear. It's best not to put honey in boiling water though.

This home remedy will fortify your immune system to help you fend off your streaming cold.

I hope you feel better soon.

Love,
Bay

Stinking is probably not the best word to describe the cold your teacher has. You might say, "Whenever I get a stinking cold, I.... The rest can be used if you want.

  • The soup seems to soothe the throat and mucous membranes, and the gin-and-juice makes one not care so much.
