Get up and running / durable / stem concepts

I'm adding the whole part so it will help to understand better..

1. I'm not familiar with this expression "get up and running"

2. to what reffer here "durable"? to the system of virtual reality?

3. can you please explain what is "stem concepts"? many thanks

it is low maintenance and makes it very easy to introduce virtual reality to a classroom learning environment. the controller was basically like a mousepad and it was very easy to use. all the equipment comes with service and support to help you get up and running. it's all very durable. it's very easy to clean. as educators we know the importance of stem concepts and how students are becoming more sophisticated with how they learn.
