Is it "to get undressed" or "to get oneself undressed"?

I always use "get undressed".

The song by the group America "Sister Golden Hair" has the line "That I set my sights on Monday and I got myself undressed". It is just one possible way of putting it, but the usual way here in my neck of the USA is "I got undressed".
