Delmobile I'd like to share a similar expression I'd never heard before moving to Mobile: "to put ants on me."
John's a nice guy, but something about him just puts ants on me. I hope I don't get stuck sitting next to him at lunch.
Never heard of "put ants on me" though there is a "ants in one's pants" which means very restless, anxious or uneasy.
