"get to" usage

There are more things to do, see, and play with on the Internet than you could ever get to in a lifetime. The Internet provides many information services, such as e-mail, file transfers, access to stored information and programs, newsgroups, and multimedia resources.

What does "get to" here means? I am not sure but I think it means "to discover something". But this definition does not exist in dictionaries. Here is what Macmillan shows:
