Get through

I was calling somebody on the phone but there was no connection.
I tried again.

Can I say:
"I couldn't get through to you."

or is the phrase "I couldn't get through" the only one that's correct?

You can also say: I couldn't reach you. When I phoned, there was a problem with the connection.
