Get out of our little heads

Hello

"All I want is to find an easier way to get out of our little heads"
What does the phrase 'to get out of our little heads' mean here? It doesn't make any sense to me.

Thanks in advance.

Not knowing the context it's very difficult to be sure but I would guess it refers to the human ability to transcend our physical bodies (get out of our little heads) and find the ultimate truth (or at least to enhance our cognition which cannot be normally done unless 'out of our heads').
