Get off your job

Usually, I hear people say:

(1) I get off work late at night.

Next,

(2) I get off my job late at night.

Is it wrong to say "get off my job"? Thanks a lot.

ansonguy Is it wrong to say "get off my job"? It is understandable, and it is not wrong grammatically, but I have never heard anyone say it, so I wouldn't say it myself, and I wouldn't recommend it. CJ
