Get off me vs. get off of me

A. Get off me.
B. Get off of me.

1. Which of the above is the correct expression?
2. Is it the second one because it's almost similar in form to the expression "Let go of me"?
3. By the way, is the correct answer in #1 the same in meaning as "Let go of me"?
