Get my ma ... (take care of)

Hi

One guy was shot during the shooting.

He was lying on the ground, dying. He told the other guy who was sitting next to him: Get my ma, willya, Ben?

I'm just wondering if "get" here could mean "take care of my ma"?

I know that "get" can have many meanings, but is one of them "take care of somebody"?
