Thanks for your response to my post.

A: I want to talk to C. Get me through to her on talks.

B: Why should I get you through to her on talks?

Is this conversation natural? Specially B's response. If not, what is the natural way to say this?

No. Say eg A: I 'd like to talk to C, please. Can you put me through to her?

  • B: Can you tell me what you are calling about, please?

No. Say eg

A: I 'd like to talk to C, please. Can you put me through to her?

B: Can you tell me what you are calling about, please?

I've also added some typical politeness, which is important.
