Grammar

Get / make

Hi Teachers,,,

If I say "This song really gets me sleepy" and "This song really makes me sleepy". Can I use both of them? or maybe which one is more appropriate?

Thanks in advance.

If you intend to mean that the result of listening to this song is drowsiness, then your choice is 'make', for it is a causative verb. Respectfully, Gleb Chebrikoff
