Get lost, Bob!

Hello! Could you help me, please? Does the phrase "Get lost, Bob!" mean anything? The situation is the following: my student had to translate a sentence into English, and after that sentence he left this Bob-comment. It looked this way: "You look badly, somehow. Give up smoking and do more sport. Eat more fruit and vegetables." And further his comment, "Get lost, Bob!" I understood he'd joked, because he smokes, but what exactly did he mean? Thank you!

Thank you! And "Bob"? Can it be as "guy, buddy, man", etc.?

"Bob" is a specific name. If it was "bub", then it could mean what you say.
