get infections vs get sick

Hi,

Which one do you ask in ordinary conversation?

Do you get frequent infections?
Do you get sick frequently?

Thank you in advance.

Neither.. I usually say it more informally. eg Do you get sick a lot?

  • Neither..
  • I usually say it more informally.
  • eg Do you get sick a lot?
  • But I would only say this to a close friend.
  • And if it's a close friend, I probably already know the answer, so I don't need to ask.
