Get hurry & once

Hi guys,

Are the sentences correct?
"get hurry" seems strange to me although I can find some online.
And as for the word "once", it also looks strange.

I understood about the tense.
But my question was about the usage of the conjunction "once."
I interpreted it as meaning "at one time in the past" in which the word was used as an adverb-- not conjunction-- and
thought instead of once, "because once" should be there.
