Get him a job

Is there an alternative way of saying "He could get him a job at his dad's place". I am wondering if there's a way to replace "get him" with something else. I am sure I have heard some other phrases or idioms used to say the same thing, but can't remember what it might have been.

eg "He could fix him up with a job at his dad's place."
