Get / got

...when Slughorn came in I thought I was going to got detention, but he just thought it was a really good hex and invited me to lunch! Mad, eh?”

Can there be used “get detention” instead of “got”? I just have never seen the use of past tense after “was going to”. If it’s not too much trouble for you, tell me more about this kind of topic. I would really appreciate it. And do not hesitate to correct me, if I wrote something wrong.

Thanks in advance.

"I was going to got detention" is a misprint. It should be "I was going to get detention". Does it definitely say "got" in the book?
