Hi teachers,

1. From webster learner dictionary it's a phrasal verb. Get down to business / work. It could be a verb or noun after 'Get down to'?

2. Can I subsitute other words
Let's get down to homework, cook, tasks.

It needs to be a noun. eg get down to my homework eg get down to business. A gerund is also OK, eg get down to studying.

It needs to be a noun.
eg get down to my homework
eg get down to business.

A gerund is also OK,
eg get down to studying.
