get back in contact

Is this a natural sentence? Is this how an English Speaker would say the below?

I'm not interested in getting into contact with anyone from my mom's side of the family.

Thanks

Is the expression get into contact or get in touch?

Are both interchangeable in the sentence above?

Should I say get in or into contact?

Thanks
