Get away!

Hi everybody!

I was wondering if this is right and makes sense:

I get away, darling so long

to express the feeling of going away and letting go of someone but in a sentimental way

thanks for your help

best

I think in the sense you are intending, you would need to use passive voice and say "I am going away, darling. So long." This indicates you are leaving your darling and telling her/him goodbye.

I hope this helps.

It is very sentimental to use a French word adopted into English:

Adieu, my darling, I must leave you now.
