Get around to

Hello!
I got confused with the question from CAE sample: "How often do you get around to working out?".

As far as I understood, "to get around to doing smth" - it's when you finally start doing this after some tries. But I can't connect this definition with the question. Help me out with the answer, please.

blue piano 256 How often do you get around to working out? ~ How often do you [find some time / take some time] to work out? It doesn't have to do with "after some tries".

  • That's not part of the definition.
  • 'get around to doing' is like 'eventually do (over the course of time)', and it's often about things people don't really like to do, things that require too much effort, things that people postpone doing because they are unpleasant things to do.
