Get all steamed up with ...

Hi

The author says that you can change the recipes, you can change the ingredients to the ones which you like more.
He says:

The key is not to get all steamed up with this cooking lark - just do what works for you and your lifestyle.

I know that "get all steamed up" means "get nervous", "angry". But here I would say it means something like "don't worry too much about this cooking lark ..."? What do you think?
