Context: Ask someone on the phone to take the document and give it to me at the office. Can you please get/bring the document? Which one is the correct verb either "get" or "bring"?

In the context you describe, the correct verb is 'bring'.

If the other person is coming toward you, he is bringing something.
If the other person is going away from you, he is taking something.

Please bring that document to me.
Please take this document to the bank.

With 'get', the other person doesn't have something. He goes somewhere to find it and takes possession of it.

Please go to the mail room, and get my mail, and bring it to me.
Please go to the mail room, and get Mr King's mail, and take it to him.

'get' can also be used to mean 'get and bring' or 'get and take'.

My brother got a book from the library for me.
(He got the book and brought it to me.)
My brother got a book from the library for my sister.
(He got the book and took it to my sister.)
