Hi teachers.
I would like to describe ‘somebody who makes a lot of gestures when they speak’, and I found the expression ‘somebody who talks with one’s hands.’
Is it the right expression ?
I am wondering if there is any chance people could mistake them for sb who speaks sign language.
Thanks in advance~

The act of moving hands and arms about in order to attract attention or make somebody understand what you are saying is called "gesticulating" or "gesticulate". The person who does that is called "gesticulator".
