Gerund+prepositional phrase

Hello teachers,

I would like to know the function of the prepositional phrase in this sentence:

"Daydreaming about wooden boats was occupying Antonio's free time."

"Daydreaming about wooden boats"= gerund phrase that functions as a the subject of the sentence.

so, what about "about wooden boats"? what is the function of this prepositional phrase? an ADJECTIVE, or and ADVERB?
