Hello IK In your sentence, "correcting" is a gerund, and "posts" is the object of that gerund. I would take "gerund phrase" to mean "a phrase headed by a gerund"; in which case, yes, you could call "my correcting posts" a "gerund phrase". All the best, MrP

But on another reading, posts is the object of the preposition from, and correcting is a participle/adjective modifying posts. In fact, it was the first reading I had when I read the sentence. It was only after reading Mr. P.'s interpretation that I realized there was another possible reading.

Yes, indeed, there are two interpretations.
