gerund phrase?

Hi everyone,
I would like to ask whether the sentence below is correct, especially the ending part of it?
"The office also did not have to tackle the issue of the undertaking having no sales at all."

I know I could easily write "the undertaking that has no sales at all" but I am intersted if abovementioned wording is also comprehensible and correct. I concluded that it might be some kind of gerund phrase, but I am not sure.
thank you
Martin
