Gerund or infinitive

HI,

" At the commencement, I pointed out purposely to what it feels to be a foreigner in foreign country ALLUDING (or to allude or to tell you) that I had suffered from severe homesickness...."

Gerund and infinitive is one of the hardest parts of learning English as a second language. I don't know if the world alluding is what I should use her or not!
