Gerund or Infinitive

A. Talking with him is a lot of fun for me.
B. It is a lot of fun for me to talk with him.

I think that A is fairly natural but B is not. Besides, A and B are different in the meaning. What is your take?

In fact, to me, B sounded like, "It is a lot of fun that I talk to him," but now I realize I got the wrong idea for some reason.
