Gerund example

Hi there,

Can I please just confirm (or not) that 'riding' is a gerund in the following sentence?

Jessica is thinking about riding on the weekend.

I have one more gerund which I find a bit confusing.

Here is a sentence:

The least thing I like doing is cleaning the house.

My guess is that 'cleaning' is a gerund because I see it acts as subject compliment. What I'm confused with is the difference between identifying present continuous tense (She is cleaning) and the subject compliment. I'm only guessing that cleaning

If the sentence has "is cleaning the house", it will depend on the meaning of the subject. I'm sure you can distinguish between the two cases below. One has the present continuous tense; the other has a gerund.

Can I please just check one more sentence I've just written?

'Stop driving so fast!'

I'm not sure that 'driving' is a gerund here. My guess is that it's a participle?
