0 Alta Vista doesn't work correctly. However, I am sure there is a guy who can help me. I remember his name was something like MrPredantic or similar. He must be a moderator as well. He had helped me with such problems before. Would be nice when you could give him a call, as I cannot find him right now. 02br

0 Hi, 02br
00There is a mistake in your and other people's translation of the first sentence - in this sentence the capital letters of personal pronouns make a difference. 02br
02br
001) Erlaubten sie Ihnen, Ihr Auto vor ihrem Haus zu parken? 02br
00Did they allow you to park your car in front of their house? 02br

0 Thank you, Fair Lady. I do agree with Robert that alta vista is pretty awful, and I'm sorry I even suggested it. I tried to translate a letter from Portuguses to English, but it was totally incomprehensible. It was easier to translate it from Portuguese to French and then I justr sat and puzzled out the French! 0-

0 Just a couple of supplementary thoughts: 02br
02br
001) Erlaubten sie Ihnen, Ihr Auto vor ihrem Haus zu parken? 02br
00— Isn't it 'did they allow you to park your car in front of their house'? 02br
02br
007) Stets ermutigte er mich, mein Studium fortzusetzen. 02br
00Perhaps '...to continue (with) my studies'. 02br
