Genuine/actual address

Hello,

I may be wrong but doesn't "I didn't give them my actual address, because I wanted to protect my privacy" sound more natural than "I didn't give them my genuine address..."? "Actual" gets more hits, and I was able to find more sentences. I don't know why, but I probably wouldn't use "genuine" here.

Thank you.
