Gentle memories

1-I have gentle memories of her.

Does this mean:
a-I have memories of occasions when she was gentle?
or
b-I have memories that one could qualify as gentle?

The difference is subtle, but as far as grammar is concerned, there is a difference.

Could one say:
2-I have gentle memories of Paris.

Obviously, Paris was not gentle to me. My memories are gentle.

Gratefully,
Navi.
