Hey all, I've come across the name "Genny Castle" and I have no idea how to pronounce Genny. I tried to look it up but haven't found anything. Could someone please help me?

Without context I would say it is likely to have a hard "g", as in "got".

I would guess that someone was fiddling round with the spelling of Jenny, and pronounce it in the same way. Also, many common names starting with G start with that soft g sound anyway, so you are probably going to be right even if it is not connected to Jenny.
