Generation

It's hard for me to know if "generation" here means "creating"? or something else? Thanks.

Company is not responsible for any loss of Tokens both during the minting process, during the token generation event.

The c ompany is not responsible for any loss of t okens both during the minting process or during the token generation event. If the writer meant 'creation', I'm surprised he didn't just say 'creation'. Furthermore, 'minting' sounds to me like creation.
