The first three sentences are correct.
The third needs work. How about, “I generally take my vacation in winter, in South Africa.”
Or possibly, "As a general rule, I take vacations in South Africa in the winter."

Thank you.

Where shall I put work in the third sentence please?
Is there a difference between on general and in general, is it better to put it in the beginning of at the end of the sentence?

What about on general?

The use of 'on general' would mean treating it as an adjective. For example, I disapprove on general principle. "On general grounds, I am voting against this motion."

Can I say " On general, I don't like to eat in a new opening restaurant"?

No. "On general" must be followed with an expression, as I indicated in my post. On general grounds, on general principle. It's quite different to "In general, I do this..."
