General question on introduction with someone

When we are introduced to some one, we will end up the conversation by saying "Nice to meet you". What exactly the other person is supposed to say?
We can say "nice to meet you too". what else?

The pleasure was all mine. (A bit old-fashioned and won't always be appropriate).

My strongest recommendation is to stick with "Nice to have met you too!"
