Letter Writing

General letter writing

please, can anyone review my writing I esteem that!

You should spend about 20 minutes on this task.

You live in a room in college which you share with another student. However, there are many problems with this arrangement and you find it very difficult to study/work.

Write a letter to the accommodation officer at the college. In the letter:

  • describe the situation
  • explain your problems and why it is difficult to study/work
  • say what kind of accommodation you would prefer

You should write at least 150 words.

You do NOT need to write any address.

Dear sir or madam, my name is saad, and I live in room no.200.I want to express my dissatisfaction with my roommate.actually, I facing an unavoidable problem every day.

first of all, my roommate doesn's care about changing his clothes and cleaning his mess, which makes the smell of the room terrible.over that the space of the room not enough for both of us, which makes me study in a library every night.roommate used to bring his friend to this narrow room! which makes the problem gets complicated.the study time not matching for both of us, which is mean he needs to study while I need to sleep.Another point there is no big windows let the sunlight gets in the room, which drives us to turn on the electrical light twenty-four hours a day.

finally, I hope from you to shift me to another room, with roommate have same study hours and same levels, because I want to share my new roommate the experience and help each other on homework. thank you

Hi nightlord,

You have flagrantly broken the most important rules of English grammar.

  1. Every sentence begins with a capital letter.
  2. Proper nouns (your name!) begin with a capital letter.
  3. There is one space after a period (full stop), at the end of a sentence.

Fix these problems, re-post your letter, and then we can take a look at the other mistakes.
