Is this sentence correct? If i wasnt going to Spain in March i would have been there now. ( i cant afford to go to Spain twice Its December now and i am going to Spain in March)

[ Does the French literal translation of what you have written sound correct? Si je n'allais pas en Espagne au mois de mars, j'y aurais été maintenant. That doesn't sound right to me. Same thing in English. ]
