General Comment

It is such a nice thing to come across a place where people still care about words, usage, meaning, grammar, and all that accompanies these things! So often, here in Canton, Ohio, I feel that I am a voice crying in the wilderness! Our local newspaper is terribly full of grammatical and spelling errors, in general, everyone seems to assume spell-check will always watch over one's writing, and I feel as if I am the only one who can get lost in contemplating noun/verb agreement! I may not always get it right, but I think about it. It seems as if those who care about the written word are in the minority. This site makes me happy!
