Think about it --
you rob a bank here, who gonna respond to that call?
Our substation, Precinct 27, probably 28, too, because everyone's geeked up on that FBI intel.

That may be the meaning in this context. I don't know.

But if you just said to me, eg 'Tom is geeked up', I would have no real idea of what you were talking about. I might guess that you meant 'Tom is dressed like a geek'. Or maybe 'Tom is accompanied by geeks'.
