Geammar help please?

Hi there,

Can you tell me "constrain" and "restrain" are pretty much same meaning in these sentences, please?

Time constraint/restraint, I have to be home by 6pm.

As a student, I constrain/restrain myself from watching television too long.

School project was constrained/restrained from lacking of the fund.

I am constrained/restrained in my room tonight, as my mom won’t let me go out.

Thanks in advance.

(I don't like either word for the last sentence.)
