GCE "O" Level Oral Exam.

My "O" level English Exam is coming in a few weeks time and i'm pretty worried about my the way i'm speaking. The Exam consist of 2 parts- 1. Passage reading, 2. Topics discussion. I was thinking if it is advisable to speak to the examiners in English with British accent in it... i felt pretty wierd about it because i had never really tried that before but... is it good if i do that? Anyone have any tips or advices in taking Oral exam?

I'd strongly advise against trying to put on a fake accent. They don't care what accent you speak with (do you think Americans taking this exam would try to fake a British accent) as they are just checking that you speak clearly and with good grammar/vocabulary.

For example, in picture discussion, they are testing your ability to analyse. That means saying 'The bo

Dear Excalibur,

1. Just be yourself and speak naturally and clearly.

2. Visit my blog at ( put it in your profile only) search: How to access my other blogs / get to my Oral English related blogs and perhaps you may find something useful there.

3. Good luck to you.

Hi,

As a general comment, you need to introduce your topic in your introductory paragraph, and make your reader interested in it. But you have not mentioned your topic at all.
