Gave or have given

The TV series "Bones" is just over. What should the TV producers say to the viewers for their loyal support all over twelve years?

1) We thank you for the support that you GAVE us during all these twelve years.

2) We thank you for the support that you HAVE GIVEN us during all these twelve years.

Also, in your own words, how would you say this?

By the way, is it correct to say, "all over twelve years"?

Thank you
